GA FF Rescues Kitten from Interstate

DeKalb Firefighter Joshua Andrew gingerly removed the terrified kitten from atop a Jersey wall.
Dec. 1, 2023

Firefighters are long known for rescuing cats from trees. But probably not many can say they saved a tiny furball sitting on a Jersey wall.

But a DeKalb County firefighter did just that.

After the engine slowed to a stop, Firefighter Joshua Andrew walked up and lifted the terrified kitten off her I-285 Jersey wall perch.

The kitten has a new home with the mother of one of the firefighters.
